The mission of Women’s Startup Lab is to create the world in which women entrepreneurs thrive and succeed through innovation and collaboration. Our philosophy is based on the Japanese character, Hito. Two people leaning on each other make up the symbol of Hito, which means “human” in Japanese. By focusing on people, or “human innovation” we aim to transform individuals, companies and the world. Based in Silicon Valley, California, we have been in operation for 6 years. We have run our unique, women focused accelerator for five years, graduating 16 batches. Of our over 150 alumnae, over 55% have successfully raised funds, and 4 have had successful exits. We have also trained over 1,000 corporate leaders. Our growing community numbers 25,000+ worldwide.
