Established, proven business models that offer financial services to companies and individuals at the BoP in Colombia, Mexico and Peru: Core industry segments include microcredit, working capital financing, payroll deduction loans , financing asset acquisitions, and housing development and financing, among others. 2. Strong, core base of operations within underpenetrated market segments that create the potential for consolidation and exits through strategic sales, including to large financial institutions: Identify highly probable exit alternatives before investing. 3. Reliable management teams with likeminded visions to support businesses and individuals that are underserved by traditional sources of financing: Work closely with management to monitor and carry out business plan. Align management incentives via stock ownership programs. 4. Companies that can benefit from the operating expertise of the Kandeo team, particularly its abilities to expand companies' operations and sales across the region and penetrate new market segments: Leverage team's operational background to improve and grow BoP businesses.
