Initially, at the time of establishment, ISC carried out its activities mainly focusing on venture capital investments. In 2008, ISC layed the groundwork to further expand its Private Equity business by establishing a buyout practice, launching iSigma Business Advancement Fund I, followed by the successive launch of iSigma Business Advancement Fund II in July 2013, All executives and employees are equally filled with gratitude, being aware that these achievements are entirely made possible by the support of shareholders, investors, management and employees of investees, and all of our business partners. Among the small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) -which supports the Japanese economy and numbers up to a little less than 3.3 million companies- we believe there are many companies faced with various problems, such as companies that are struggling to find successors, are experiencing growing pain and are seeking a breakthrough for new growth, and are considering to expand overseas. Also, there are many companies facing corporate reorganization evaluation to concentrate on core business.
