Profile
HPC is the international family office of SAP founder Prof. Dr. Hasso Plattner. In this function, the HPC Group – with its offices in Potsdam, San Francisco and Cape Town – provides a wide range of services, from asset management to private concierge services, to the Plattner family. Through the Hasso Plattner Foundation, HPC oversees inter alia the renowned Hasso Plattner Institute and Museum Barberini in Potsdam.
Hasso Plattner has recently been awarded the prestigious Werner-von-Siemens-Ring. Since 1916, the foundation of the same name honors the life achievement of important engineers. The jury’s verdict for one of the most important German scientific and technical awards states: “As the founder of SAP, Hasso Plattner had a decisive influence on Germany as a business location and repeatedly built bridges with a wealth of ideas – between science and research, industry and politics.
