Profile

Founded in 1991 and focused on investing in lower middle market companies for nearly three decades, the Graycliff Partners team previously operated as the U.S. Private Equity division of HSBC. In 2011, the investment team spun off to form Graycliff Partners, an independent investment firm.

Our model is a little different than the typical private equity firm. We invest as shareholders, lenders, or sometimes a combination of the two. However, our investment focus remains the same for every deal: lower middle market companies primarily in the United States, typically in niche manufacturing, business services, and value-added distribution.
