Clearspring Capital Partners is a leading Canadian mid-market private equity firm that invests in and acquires medium-sized companies through buyouts, growth and acquisition financings, going private transactions, industry consolidations, restructurings, recapitalizations and other types of transactions.
Clearspring Capital Partners has been in the private-equity business since 2002. In that time we have closed three funds, which raised nearly $600 million.
Clearspring Capital Partners will focus on the Canadian private equity mid-market and will seek to invest between $20 million and $50 million in companies that:
- Operate in established, stable industries;
- Have developed, or have the potential to develop, strong market positions;
- Have created, or have the potential to create, a sustainable, customer-focused competitive advantage;
- Are run by seasoned, high-quality and aligned management teams; and
- Have significant opportunities to grow organically or by acquisition.
