About us
We are Brandenburg Kapital, the region's leading venture capital investor.

As an active investor, we have put more than 160 companies on the road to success with venture capital and entrepreneurial know-how. We would be delighted to help you, too, get off to a flying start.

We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Brandenburg's Förderbank ILB. As a public venture capital company with a stable corporate environment, we ensure a strong equity base for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises in Brandenburg so that they can grow safely and sustainably.

The Seed and Growth Fund, currently worth around 100 million euros, is available for this purpose. The Seed and Growth Fund, which has been set up on behalf of the Brandenburg State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, is currently financed with capital from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and ILB's own funds.

Together with our co-investors, we have invested about 750 million euros in Brandenburg's dynamic companies since 1993. We see ourselves not only as an investor, but also as a strategic sparring partner. We actively support our portfolio companies on their way from startups to international players.
