Acceleprise was founded in 2012 by Sean Glass, Allen Gannett, and Collin Gutman. The original office, in Washington, DC, was created in response to lack of resources for early stage enterprise technology companies. Acceleprise later expanded in 2014, with a second fund, to San Francisco. Led by Michael Cardamone, a mentor in the original program, Acceleprise recruited three enterprise leaders as general partners: Rowan Trollope, Nick Mehta, and Whitney Sales.
